At the heart of the Rencontres de la photographie en Gaspésie, this unique event brings together visitors, artists, and the local population during public meetings dedicated to photographic creation : projections, discussions with artists, guided exhibition tours, etc. Join us for this weekend of discoveries and exchanges in the beautiful sites of the Gaspé Peninsula.
RENCONTRES ON TOUR PROGRAMMING
As of August 20, we unfortunately have to announce the absence of three international artists, Alessandra Calò, Davide Degano, KAI Fusayoshi, who are being held back in Europe and Japan due to flight cancellations by Air Canada.
However, all activities will go ahead as planned, and the public is invited to visit the exhibitions despite the artists’ absence.
We thank you for your understanding. Despite all our efforts to facilitate the artists’ travel and bring their voices to you, some unforeseen events remain beyond our control.

Due to limited space at the Halte municipale parking lot, you may park at Parc des Arpenteurs (across the road) and use the pedestrian crossing to reach the beach.

The launch of the book of the same name has been postponed to a later date.

Visit of the exhibition I became the volcano by Reno Salvail (1947-2023). The artist’s family will be on hand to chat with the public.
All these activities are free of charge.
