With two weeks to go before the launch, exhibition installations are already underway across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">In that context, sound artist <strong>Ta\u00efssia Froidure<\/strong> \u2013 who completed a creative residency in the Gasp\u00e9 Peninsula in 2024 via a partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diaphane.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Diaphane, p\u00f4le photographique en Hauts-de-France<\/a> \u2013 is currently in the Baie-des-Chaleurs to install her work. Her immersive exhibition is presented at <strong>the Pointe Tracadigash lighthouse<\/strong> in Carleton-sur-Mer and also features a large-format photographic installation by Italian artist <a href=\"https:\/\/alessandracalo.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alessandra Cal\u00f2<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Designed on the basis of local residents\u2019 testimonies, the installation offers a sensitive and poetic listening experience. Between calls from the foghorn, visitors are invited to pause and listen closely, catching the subtle dialogue of slumbering giants who seem to exchange fragments of stories. Rencontres de la photographie en Gasp\u00e9sie is proud to activate this unique and historically rich site as part of its summer program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The exhibition will be open to the public starting July 15. Ta\u00efssia Froidure will return to the Gasp\u00e9 from August 20 to 22 to meet with the public as part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/evenements-gaspesie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rencontres on Tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size\"><strong>\u2192 About the artist&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/taissia-froidure-at-carleton-sur-mer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ta\u00efssia Froidure<\/a> is a sound artist from France. On French radio she produces shows and podcasts on a broad range of topics.
